SO SORRY was founded in 2023 (Berlin) and formed in its current line-up in April 2024: Zuza Jasinska (vocals), Shanice Ruby Bennett (bass), Käthe Johanning (keys), and Lenny Rehm (drums). Their music moves at the intersection of jazz, alternative pop, and R&B, combining tightly woven arrangements with emotional clarity and a spirit of shared empowerment.

In the same year, the band received the Music Board Scholarship and recorded its debut EP at Brewery Studios in Berlin. SO SORRY has since performed extensively in Berlin and appeared at this year's Lovebird Festival in Düsseldorf and BuntoderBlau in Dortmund.

In 2025, the band won first prize at the Sparda Jazz Award and is currently nominated for the Junger Münchener Jazzpreis (finals on 7th of November 2025). Their debut EP is scheduled for release in January 2026. With strong musicianship and heartfelt songwriting, SO SORRY is not an apology but a statement of reclaiming space and embracing boldness.
